In your first year at co-elevate, you will become a reliable design contributor supporting the delivery of site development projects through grading, servicing and stormwater design.
You’ll work closely with your team to develop practical, well-coordinated designs, while building the technical judgment needed to take on increasing responsibility within the team.
Attend a stand-up meeting with your scrum team to discuss yesterday’s challenges and plan for the day’s tasks.
Support the development of grading, servicing and stormwater designs
Prepare and refine Civil 3D models and drawings
A daily break for a game of table tennis, hitting the Golf Sim (London) or adding to the ongoing puzzle is always welcomed.
Attend one of co-elevates group events such as potlucks, lunch & learns, book club, etc.
Participate in one of co-elevate’s charity causes such as blood drives, toy drives, food drives, or seasonal in-house charity events.
Participate in site visits and field reviews as required
At the end of a long day, it is commonplace for our leadership to send staff members home to ensure work-life balance.
[ what we are looking for in a civil designer ]
Degree in Civil Engineering from a Canadian institution (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in land development or municipal design
Understanding of Canadian design standards and approvals
Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Ability to reach and interpret engineering drawings
Excited to work in-office at any of our locations - with flexibility when needed

Experience supporting projects through approvals (site plan, grading, servicing, SWM)
Exposure to municipal review processes and agency coordination
Field experience during construction
