In your first year at co-elevate, you will become a trusted technical leader- providing engineering oversight on projects, mentoring team members, and helping to strengthen our internal systems and standards. You’ll play a key role in raising the technical bar across the company while building strong relationships with clients and collaborators.
Attend a stand-up meeting with your scrum team to discuss yesterday’s challenges and plan for the day’s tasks.
Provide meaningful oversight and mentorship of less experienced staff by providing engineering guidance and reviewing calculation packages.
A daily break for a game of table tennis, hitting the Golf Sim (London) or adding to the ongoing puzzle is always welcomed.
Attend one of co-elevates group events such as potlucks, lunch & learns, book club, etc.
Participate in one of co-elevate’s charity causes such as blood drives, toy drives, food drives, or seasonal in-house charity events.
Conduct drawing review to ensure conformance to designs and seal drawings as needed.
At the end of a long day, it is commonplace for our leadership to send staff members home to ensure work-life balance.
[ what we are looking for in a civil engineer ]
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in any Canadian Province
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering
Experience acting as Engineer of Record on a range of projects
Experienced in the design of multiple development types (residential, commercial, industrial)
Ability to define clear goals for all aspects of a project and develop steps for their proper execution
Working knowledge of software such as Civil 3D and EPAnet
Experience with PCSWMM is considered an asset
Creativity and innovation in finding solutions
Participation in site reconnaissance, field investigations & construction observation
Capable of mentoring, guiding, and providing oversight to teammates
Excited to work in-office at any of our locations - with flexibility when needed

Experience leading teams or formally mentoring junior staff
Strong construction coordination or site experience
A passion for building relationships with clients and contributing to long-term partnerships
